Precimation Precimation is a Swiss company, founded in 1974 specialising in Display technology. In 1998 they began the design of the iqube system, an information system for public transport schemes. The iqube system is a complete communications network allowing up to date information to be passed to any point in the network and displayed. This is ideal for public bus services. The timetable is downloaded to displays in the bus shelters, which can then show the time of the next departure. The latest information, if a bus is delayed for example, can actually be sent from the bus to update the display. RDT have been pleased to work with Precimation, developing a special version of the RM9600 Radio Modem to operate on the buses, at the bus stops and at central control.
