Radio Modems - Setting the Standard
The RM96XX series of radio modems take the doubt out of the use of radio data communications in

RM96XXB Radio Modem in Aluminium Enclosure
The RM96XXB is supplied in its own aluminium housing.
Note that this housing offers some degree of protection but is not
weatherproof or suitable for external installations.
Connectors are as above for the board module, except for the
antenna connection, which is a BNC.

RM96XXE Radio Modem in IP67 Enclosure

The RM96XXE unit is supplied in an IP67
housing for external use.
This version has a BNC antenna connector
fitted to the top plate, intended for direct antenna mounting, with
cable entry glands in the bottom plate. It also has an 'N' type
connector on the bottom plate for remote antenna mounting.
This model is supplied complete with an integral
mains power supply and 3 metres of cable.
Overall size of the enclosure is:
276h x 186w x 130d
Note: Height is 320 including cable
glands.

Power Amplifiers
Where local regulations permit, an RF Amplifier module may be added to
increase the output power to achieve much greater distances. RDT can
supply an amplifier with an output of 5 to 15 watts or a larger unit with
20 to 25 watts output.
The CDA series of amplifiers combine high performance with a rugged
design capable of continuous operation. The input can withstand a 100%
overdrive condition whilst the output is protected against open and short
circuits at any phase angle and remains stable under any load condition.
