Ethernet Radio Modems
The RDT Ethernet modems are 802.11a compliant, operating in the license-free 5GHz band. They are capable of transmitting data up to 54Mbits/s over short distances, or in excess of 30km (terrain and antenna dependent), at reduced data rates. They are reliable and secure units that provide high-speed wireless Ethernet connectivity across a broad range of applications.

Models
There are four models available, each can be configured as either a Master or Slave. The ERM4056E version requires a 12V DC supply. The ERM4056M model has an integral mains power supply. Both models have a TNC connector for connection of various external antennas.
The ERM4056A has a built-in 20dB panel antenna. The ERM4056A-4 has the same antenna, but also a built-in 4 port router – i.e. it provides 4 x RJ45 input connections. Both of these models require a 12V DC power supply.
We can also offer a similar Ethernet modem that is 802.11g compliant, operating in the 2.4GHz band. For more information contact RDT sales.
Antennas
There is a range of antennas available for various applications. Some units are supplied with integral panel antennas but we also offer models with external antenna connectors. This allows the use of omni-directional antennas for multi-transmitter networks.
