The RDT VideoWave 1.4GHz series provides a professional answer to wireless transmission of composite real time video signals using proven video processing technology (PAL, SECAM and NTSC). They operate in the license exempt 1.4GHz frequency band.
The units are small and light, housed in a very robust aluminium extrusion. IP67 rated enclosures giving full weatherproofing for exposed locations are also available. VideoWave may be used with the supplied patch antenna or with a range of externally mounted antennas for greater distances. VideoWave can also be used in conjunction with our range of modems to offer over air telemetry for full control of PTZ cameras.

The VTX1394S transmitter and VRX1394S receiver are small and lightweight units, housed in a robust aluminium enclosure. They are supplied with a 12V DC power supply, 3dB patch antenna and wall-mounting bracket.
The VTX1394SE transmitter and VRX1394SE receiver incorporate the standard Videowave 1394MHz wireless video transmission units with a mains power supply, housed in a weatherproof IP67 rated enclosure. They are supplied with a 3dB patch antenna and wall and pole mounting brackets.
The VTX1394SED transmitter and VRX1394SED receiver combine Videowave 1394MHz wireless video transmission units with RM9600 series radio modems to allow full control of PTZ cameras. They include mains power supply and are housed in a weatherproof IP67 rated enclosures. The units are supplied with a 3dB patch antenna for video and a ½ wave whip antenna for data, and also include wall and pole mounting brackets.
In addition to the antennas supplied as standard, RDT also offer a range of optional antennas to provide increased range and performance.
The VTX1394SED and VRX1394SED can be configured to support most commonly available telemetry protocols.
