VideoWave Analogue 5.8GHz
The RDT VideoWave 5.8GHz series provides a professional answer to wireless transmission of composite real time video signals using proven video processing technology (PAL, SECAM and NTSC). They operate in the license exempt 5.6GHz frequency band with an output power of 10mW or 25mW e.i.r.p. with the supplied patch antenna which is within the limits for most of Europe. Each transmitter/receiver pair of 5.8 GHz VideoWave units can operate on any one of 3 non-interfering channels, which allows the operation of up to 3 cameras on a single site. It is possible with the correct separation between antennas, where site conditions allow, to use all 6 available channels.
All units are supplied in IP67 rated weatherproof enclosures for use in exposed conditions. VideoWave may be used with the supplied patch antenna or with a range of externally mounted antennas for greater distances. VideoWave can also be used in conjunction with our range of modems to offer over air telemetry for full control of PTZ cameras.

Models
VTX / VRX5800S and VTX / VRX5801S
The VTX5800S transmitter and VRX5800S receiver are housed in IP67 rated weatherproof enclosures, supplied with 3dB patch antennas and pole and wall mounting brackets. Requires a 12V DC power supply. The VTX5801S transmitter and VRX5801SE receiver have an additional digital alarm and audio or second digital alarm channel.
VTX / VRX5800SE and VTX / VRX5801SE
The VTX5800SE transmitter and VRX5800SE receiver are housed an IP67 rated weatherproof enclosures and supplied with integrated 240V AC mains power supplies, 3dB patch antennas and pole and wall mounting brackets. The VTX5801SE transmitter and VRX5801SE receiver have an additional digital alarm and audio or second digital alarm channel.
VTX / VRX5800SED and VTX / VRX5801SED
The VTX5800SED transmitter and VRX5800SED receiver combine VideoWave 5800MHz wireless video transmission units with RM9600 series radio modems to allow full control of PTZ cameras. They include mains power supplies and are housed in IP67 rated enclosures. The units are supplied with 3dB patch antennas for video and ½ wave whip antennas for data and also include wall and pole mounting brackets. The VTX5801SE transmitter and VRX5801SE receiver have an additional digital alarm and audio or second digital alarm channel.
Antennas
In addition to the antennas supplied as standard, RDT also offer a range of optional antennas to provide increased range and performance.
Technical Notes
The VTX / VRX5800SED and VTX / VRX5801SED can be configured to support most commonly available telemetry protocols.
